NRG Media was well represented for the Dick Chapin Radio Account Executive of the Year Award with 2 of the three finalists. From NRG Media were: Shawn Arkle from Central Nebraska and Cami Webb from Omaha.
While neither won, we truly believe we have the best AEs in the business.

Lincoln
KLIN picked up 3 major awards, along with newest KLIN member, Matt McMaster. He received an award of his own from work prior to joining our team, as a student of UNL.
The awards received:
• Bronze Award for “Best In-Depth Investigative Story or Series” on Suicide Prevention
• Gold Award for “Best Spot Weather” for Tornadoes Dot Nebraska
• Bronze Award for “Best Newscast” for KLIN News with Mark Vail
Matt McMaster picked up his own Gold Award for his work at UNL for “Best Live Sports Event” in the College Student category on UNL Women’s Basketball: BTN + Student
Steve King, Ops Manager stated, “I am so very proud of the entire KLIN staff for their quality and hard work they do every day. KLIN is a shining example of how great local radio can be.” He continued, “They deserve accolades for these awards them for the work they do every day. They are an exceptional representation of NRG Media-Lincoln and the company, as a whole.”
