Omaha Athletics and its athletics multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD’s Omaha Sports Properties, announced a broadcast extension with longtime partner NRG Media.
The new agreement, concurrent with the 2022-23 college athletics season, calls for News Talk 1290 AM KOIL to carry all hockey games live. Additionally, 1290 AM will provide live coverage of Omaha men’s and women’s basketball. In the event of a scheduling conflicts, NRG Media will utilize additional stations, 1180 The Zone AM KZOT and 1620 The Zone AM KOZN, to carry live game coverage.
