WYTE-FM Y106.5’s AJ, half of “Pat and AJ in the Morning,” has advanced to the TOP 100 in the semi-final round in a contest held by LIVE with Regis and Kelly.

LIVE with Regis and Kelly started their search for a “Woman in Radio” to help co-host alongside Regis for a day. This contest was open to any woman in radio in the US and Canada,  and the only way to make it onto the ballot was to be nominated by listeners. After a month-long nomination process, AJ was informed that she had made it into the semi-final round dubbed “The Top 100.” Now, listeners are being asked to show their support for their favorite nominee on Regis and Kelly’s Facebook page.

“I didn’t even know about this contest until a listener told us that they had nominated me! I’m even more flabbergasted that I made the Top 100!” says AJ. “I’d be honored to represent Women in Radio, more specifically Wisconsin radio, on national television. I’ve spent all but one year of my life living and doing radio in Wisconsin, and I’d no doubt represent my home proudly.”
